Ever wondered what actually happens to your food waste? Huntingdonshire District Council has released a short film explaining exactly what happens from the moment you put your caddy out for collection. Since the weekly collection began in March, residents have diverted around 1,500 tonnes from general waste.
Watch it at https://www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/news/make-full-use-of-your-weekly-food-waste-collection/.”
If you’d like to hear more, our next waste minimisation meeting is Thursday 10 September, 5:30–6:30 pm at Pathfinder House, Huntingdon. Reserve here: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/MzDCRdUbmW
